As a fellow freezing cold person, typically I am uniformly cold all over. But, lately my legs are always cold. Maybe it’s poor circulation. Perhaps it’s this erratic Chicago weather and my body parts simply can’t handle it. Whatever the case, these are things I have found that are helping my chilly limbs.
My Legs are Always Cold
Being female, one of the most frustrating parts of cold feeling legs is sacrificing fashion to stay warm. We all know layering sweatpants would keep legs warm, but isn’t what I would call attractive or professional. So, when I discovered fleece-lined leggings I was totally overjoyed. I own several pairs of these fuzzy, cozy, leg sheathes and absolutely love them. They come in a plethora of styles for every occasion.
Cold Lower Legs
Yeah, it’s a thing. Sometimes my thighs are fine, but below the knee catches a chill. Leg warmers are no longer reserved for 80’s themed events. They are totally acceptable for daily wear, especially if you rock some cute boots with them. Or, if your boots don’t have room for any more material, I love these boot covers that add a bit of warmth, and a whole lot of style to your look.
Ladies…
Isn’t it awful when you wear tight leggings and you’ve got stubble on your legs? I swear it feels like every hair follicle is trying to force a winter coat but meeting a dead end and retaliating by causing an itchy, uncomfortable nightmare. I find that I have to shave my legs way more often in the winter–causing even more dryness. The need for good razors and lotions is strong.
Guys.
Don’t worry, I know you suffer too with the dry skin in winter especially. The guys in my life swear by this stuff. It’s a little pricey but you need a tiny bit and the job is done. They said the knockoff brands don’t work as well either.
If you’re someone that works outside no matter the temperature, first of all, you’re a total badass in my book. Get yourself some of these amazing snow pants and stay warm!
