People who are always cold know all about cold ear problems. Ears don’t have a lot of blood flow so they can lose heat pretty quickly. Cold ears can be painful and interfere with your concentration.
I think ears are one area of the body where men and women suffer equally. Those tiny hearing receptacles are not properly insulated. Let’s face it, any winter weight we put on over the holidays does not go to the ears. Prevent cold ears from happening, so you don’t show up to your destination with purplish ears or in agony from the painful chill.

Warm Winter Headbands – Ladies, winter headbands warm your ears and do your hair for you. Okay, maybe that’s a stretch, but they are super in style right now. Winter headbands are more than ear warmers – they are an accessory. Warm headbands are a lot more fashionable than a baseball cap. Even when running out the door for quick errands, a headband can pull together your whole look without much effort. A little dry shampoo, a quick braid, and a cute headband and bam, you just saved a load of time while looking cute doing it.
Funky Winter Hats – Because why be boring? Winter is dull so bring some fun into it while you warm your head and face. Winter hats are not just for children. Show everyone your funny side by choosing a funky hat that suits you. People cannot help but smile when greeted by a human with a dragon tail on their head.
Animal Winter Hats – There are some seriously fun ways to channel your spirit animal without covering your whole face. This is another way to add a little humor and fun to winter. There are cute animal hats, and also ones that are a bit more flirty and feminine. Whichever you choose, wearing an animal hat is definitely great for the mood. Anyone who is always cold should own one or more. Of course, we suggest always choosing faux animal fur. No animals need to be harmed for us to look amazing and stay warm.
Mens Earmuffs – Never fear men, there are plenty of unisex and non-foofy options to help your cold ear problems. There are plenty of men that are always cold, too. Men that work in the cold all day have to be extra careful. Make sure to choose an extra protective pair to help save your cold ears.
A few other things you can do to prevent cold ear problems.
Never go into the freezing cold weather with wet ears. This might seem like common sense, but how many of us have run out the door right after a shower? I know I am guilty of doing this while running late. If there is any water left in your ear canal, that could cause some uncomfortable issues. But, for the love of everything, don’t shove anything inside of your ear. {shudder}
Skip the earrings. Metal conducts cold quickly and consequently cools down the body parts around it. On super frigid days, think about leaving the metal earrings at home.
